Safe, Ketamine assisted therapy helping you experience lasting relief

Ketamine Assisted Therapy in New York State

Does it feel like you’ve done every type of therapy or treatment - yet you still haven’t found relief?

You might be carrying the weight of high expectations, from the world around you and from yourself. On the outside, you may be thriving — accomplished, dependable, always pushing forward — but inside, anxiety can show up as constant overthinking, self-doubt, or a persistent sense of being on edge.

For some BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ professionals, these feelings are shaped by experiences of discrimination, the pressure of showing up fully in spaces that weren’t built with you in mind, or past wounds that still quietly influence how you see yourself and the world.

Ketamine-Assisted Therapy (KAP) offers a unique path to shift these patterns. KAP can help create a gentle, introspective state that allows you to access insights and emotional experiences that may feel out of reach in regular talk therapy. In this space, you can reconnect with your strength, clarity, and sense of calm in a way that feels safe and supported.

You might consider KAP if you’re experiencing:

  • Struggles with self-doubt or perfectionism that fuel anxiety

  • A constant sense of tension, restlessness, or being on edge

  • Persistent worry or racing thoughts that are hard to quiet

  • Feeling overwhelmed by daily life, even when things “seem fine” on the outside

With compassionate guidance, KAP can help you gently explore the roots of your anxiety, discover new perspectives, and step into a deeper sense of ease and self-connection.

You’re ready to feel more ease — to handle life without spiraling.

How ketamine assisted therapy works

You can learn to experience more ease and peace everyday.

In Ketamine-Assisted Therapy (KAP), I prioritize creating a safe and authentic space where we work together to gently explore the roots of your struggles. During KAP sessions, ketamine can help open a window into your inner experience, making it easier to access and process emotions, patterns, and memories that may feel stuck or overwhelming.

Alongside KAP, I integrate EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) to help your brain process difficult experiences, and somatic therapy to reconnect with your body’s wisdom. Anxiety often shows up physically—through tension, restlessness, or tightness—and somatic techniques teach you how to notice, release, and regulate these sensations.

Together, these approaches create a supportive, compassionate space for you to gain clarity, reduce the intensity of anxious feelings, and cultivate a deeper sense of calm, resilience, and balance in your life.

  • Ketamine-Assisted Therapy (KAP) combines the benefits of ketamine with psychotherapy to create a unique opportunity for insight, growth, and healing. In therapy, we work together to gently explore the root causes of your anxiety—whether they come from past experiences, identity-related stress, or the ongoing pressures of daily life.

During KAP sessions, ketamine helps shift the way your brain processes thoughts and emotions, making it easier to access patterns, memories, or feelings that may feel stuck. This state can support deep reflection, emotional release, and new perspectives—all within a safe and supported environment.

The KAP process follows these step:

    Initial Medical Consultation
Clients begin with a medical and psychiatric screening through Journey Clinical to determine eligibility. This includes safety review and treatment education.

    Preparation Sessions
If approved, we would meet for 1–2 sessions to prepare for the first dosing experience. These sessions focus on intention setting, emotional readiness, and grounding tools.

    Dosing Sessions
Ketamine is self-administered during a scheduled session. Depending on clinical appropriateness, dosing may occur at home (with a support person present) or in person as decided collaboratively.

    Integration Sessions
Following each dosing session, we meet to process and integrate the experience. This step supports translating insights into meaningful change in daily life.
