Have you spent your life achieving and excelling, only to now feel like you’re unraveling under the weight of it all?
Let’s be real — as a queer Black woman, you’re carrying a lot.
Not just the weight of your own goals, but the expectations of your family, your workplace, and a world that often demands your strength while ignoring your pain.
On the outside, you’re showing up — accomplished, dependable, always pushing through. But on the inside? Anxiety might sound like constant overthinking, second-guessing your worth, or a feeling of never being able to fully exhale.
These feelings don’t come out of nowhere. They may be rooted in the exhausting experience of moving through spaces that weren’t built for you — where you’ve had to shrink, code-switch, overachieve, or prove yourself just to be seen. They may be tied to past wounds or trauma that still echo in how you relate to others, yourself, or your body.
You don’t have to carry it alone.
You’re craving more peace — a way to move through life without feeling like you’re constantly on edge.
Hi, i’m Danielle RObbins,
I’m here to help you learn to experience more ease and peace everyday.
I prioritize creating a space where you don’t have to perform, explain, or hold it all together — a space that feels safe, affirming, and real. As a queer black woman, I understand that it can be tough to find spaces to authentically express your true feelings, as well as get validation and support.
I use EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) to help your brain process past experiences — including those shaped by racism, generational trauma, or moments where you had to disconnect from yourself to survive. EMDR allows healing to happen without needing to relive the pain in a way that feels re-traumatizing or overwhelming.
Alongside EMDR, I integrate somatic therapy to support your reconnection with your body — a place where so many of us carry anxiety in silence. Whether it’s the tightness in your chest, the clenching of your jaw, or the urge to always stay busy, somatic work helps you tune into your body’s signals and gently release what’s been held for too long.
Together, these approaches create a supportive path back to yourself — one where you can move through the world with more calm, clarity, and ease.
Therapy can help you…
Quiet the mental noise — ease constant worry and racing thoughts that leave you feeling drained
Soothe your body’s stress responses — release built-up tension, restlessness, and that tightness in your chest
Develop grounding, soul-nourishing coping tools to move through stress with more ease and self-trust
Heal from painful past experiences — including generational wounds, racial trauma, and the pressure to always be "on"
Challenge self-doubt and perfectionism rooted in survival, not truth — and begin to relate to yourself with more compassion
Reclaim a deeper sense of safety, peace, and resilience in your body, mind, and spirit
Rest more deeply and feel more connected to your wholeness and well-being

Sometimes it’s clear — you’re overwhelmed, exhausted, or stuck in patterns that aren’t working. Other times, it’s more subtle — maybe you just have a sense that something’s off. You’re not quite yourself. You’re carrying a lot, and even if you can’t name exactly what’s wrong, you know you don’t want to keep feeling this way.
Therapy can be a space to pause, reflect, and start understanding what’s going on beneath the surface — whether you're dealing with stress, relationship struggles, anxiety, past wounds, or just feeling disconnected from yourself.
If any part of you is wondering whether things could feel better — that’s reason enough to reach out. You don’t have to wait until it gets worse to get support. A free consultation is a chance to check in, ask questions, and see if therapy feels like the right next step for you.
